Neil’s major claim to fame is winning the Macquarie University Open Joke Telling Championship. Twice!
Since then he has been tapering.
Neil was the Group General Manager of Marketing for QANTAS from 2006-2008. Prior to that he was Managing Director of advertising agencies DDB Sydney, McCann Erickson Sydney and Smith Ross & Muir – an agency he founded. Currently, as the CEO of Groupe Amplify, he works with leading agencies and clients in helping their executives to become better managers and leaders through improving their skills as Communicators, Collaborators and Innovators.
Neil is a long-standing judge for B&T Agency Of The Years Awards and also the EFFIES, and has lectured at Sydney University on Marketing Strategy.
He has three children, two dogs and can slice, hook and shank his way round a golf course on a handicap of 34.4.
